Event Details
We hope you'll join us for the 7th Annual PEAK 6/12/24 Hour Mountain Bike Race. We've consulted with some of New Englands best mountain bikers and developed a course that is challenging for all riders. Our goal is to have a tough course but one that you will enjoy. The 12 mile course will feature mixed terrain with lots of middle ring climbing. We worked in some fast downhill sections and new rolling singletrack.
All entrants will receive a hat, t-shirt, and post race BBQ.
We will also have a raffle and awards for top 3 in each distance (6, 12, 24 hour)
We will add categories to each distance if we get enough entrants.
Race starts at 6 a.m.
BBQ/Party at 6 p.m.
Awards 6 p.m.
Directions:
From the intersection of Route 4 and Route 100 north in Killington, VT take Route 100 North about 8 miles, to the Amee barn on the right of Route 100 about 1/4 mile past the Pittsfield General Store.
From the north: Go south on route 100 to the Amee barn on your left just before the town of Pittsfield.
Registration and packet pick-up is Friday night at the Pittsfield General Store across from the Fire Station in Pittsfield and race morning registration will be at the Amee Farm.
Death Division:
Mountain Bike Race “Death Division”
Participants of this race portion will be joining the 24 hour racers. “Death Division” bikers will start Saturday, September 14th at 6:00 a.m. have 24 hours to complete as many laps as possible. At the end of each lap participants will have to complete a challenge before moving on to their next lap. These challenges will be similar to those encountered during a Death Race and will be physical, mental, or both. The participant with the most laps completed by Sunday, September 15th at 6:00 a.m. will be the winner. If more than one participant is on the same number of laps completed, the first one to come back and finish the lap’s challenge receives higher standing. *Same cost as 24 hour individual.
Points Awarded Based on Completion of Laps:
All Laps= 25 points

1st Place= Lap points +100 points
2nd Place= Lap points +75 points
3rd Place= Lap points +50 points
